Product Description

ALTIC 011 is a tough hard highly stable passive fire protection coating applied to steel and concrete FLAT SURFACE by spraying. VERMIULITE FIRE RETERDANT COATING consists of a factory produced blend of exfoliated vermiculite,& cementations binders and additives supplied as a dry mix to which clean water is added on site. It does not rely on any form of expansion foaming or chemical reaction to impart its fire protection properties. The product has a very good adhesion and is easy in maintenance. ALTIC011 EXTERNAL l grade is a robust economic light coating for internal EXTERNAL use. when tested in accordance with BS476 at a mean temperature of 10 C a thermal conductivity of 0.0589K CAL per HR was obtained.

ALTIC 011 External is rated on-combustible to as per EN standard and comply with the performance requirements of Class A1 as defined in Building Regulations, it does not contribute to smoke generation.

Internal has been fully tested on structural steel beams and columns for up to 4 hours fire resistance in accordance with BS 476 standard 1100 DEGREE

The thickness of fire protection material required for a given period of fire resistance is dependent upon the surface area of the steel ROOF SURFACE member exposed to fire and its equivalent cross sectional area that is the Hp by A value for the section

This is cement base coating not gypsum base. Gypsum base is not used currently due to durability. Durability of cement base is good compared to gypsum base
